Ocean Lifers Empty
PostSubject: Ocean Lifers   Ocean Lifers EmptyFri Dec 23, 2011 4:56 pm

Drove out to a new LFS today: Ocean Lifers (formerly called Salt Lifers). They've only been open a few months, but the place looks like it has lots of potential! Tristen who used to work at Coral Corral is the owner, so it was cool to stop in and see him. The store is kind of small, but they have a nice selection, everything was clean, they have a shark tank, and they are setting up a 200 gallon bowfront reef aquarium! Very Happy

Picked up 2 leopard wrasses while there, which I'm very excited about! mr. green Hope to go back soon when the store is completely set-up. cheers

I did. I decided to get 2 of them. They dove in the sand when I added them and haven't come out yet. The suspense is killing me! Snap out of It!

I knew to expect it but it was very disapointing when you don't see it for three days

Yeah. I'm not worried (yet), but I just wish they'd come out so I could see that they're doing fine and try to get them to eat. Neutral

Stopped by Ocean Lifers yesterday. Turns out that they've got a new crew working now. Tristen is no longer with them. The crew now consists of Fred (the owner), and then Terry and Nick. They're still getting the store set-up, but things look promising. They had a pretty nice selection of fish, and they also have a large coral system. The design of their main display tank is really nice. It's going to look really great once they've got more corals and fish in there!
